Last Saturday, my friend Ana and I entered a painting contest. We painted for mmm 4 hours, and this is what I did. It's the moon above the sea at night. I first thought of making a sunset at the sea, a painting I made when I was little, but then I thought I should do something different, besides this one has a little secret it's hidden in the painting. Oh, and it's a triply wood as a canvas, and we painted with acrylics. I also took a pic of Ana's painting but won't submit it here till I ask her
Neither of us won, but it was fun as hell. Another good thing was that people really liked our paintings, cuz we were painting outdoors, in a plaza, and they told us while we were painting. Oh oh oh, and I also have to say it - it feels bloody great when people find out I'm an engineer... who paints... and I ain't so bad hehehe no really, there were only art students there, so I do feel happy that I can say from my personal experience that Art is for EVERYONE.
Note: Lower right corner was my sig [besides the Ð on the left] that's the only change I made to the picture. Other than that, the painting is intact.
I like it a lot, i just think that the sky and the water should have been a bit different colors to make them stand out more, but i still like it a lot!

Just blame the limelight.
woohoo thanx for the fav!! ^_^ well, the water and sky were different "in person" they were more mmm black-er, but still very similar, the point was exactly that, to make them very alike because when it's too dark in the sea, you don't see where does the sea or sky end or begin, but the moon makes it a little more visible. I'm so happy u liked it ^_^

Qué bien se ven la mezcla de colores para darle diferencia entre el mar y el cielo..
Así como el reflejo de la luna

Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off.
But its better if you do.
